Terms & Conditions

The rules for using video-llm to turn links into shorts.

Last updated: 19 June 2026

Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of video-llm (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

video-llm is in an early “stage 1” preview, so features, limits and availability may change.

The service

video-llm turns one to five public video links into a finished vertical short — writing a voice-over, selecting the B-roll, burning in subtitles and rendering the clip. We may add, change, pause or remove features at any time, and we may impose limits on generations or usage to keep the Service running for everyone.

Eligibility & your account

You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to consent to data processing in your country. You agree to provide accurate account information, to keep your credentials secure and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

When you use the Service you agree that you will not:

  • Submit links to content you do not own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use.
  • Use the Service to create or distribute illegal, infringing, deceptive, harassing or otherwise harmful content.
  • Attempt to break, overload, probe, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Abuse, resell or attempt to circumvent the credit system or other usage limits.
  • Violate the terms of the source platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) or any applicable law.

Your content & generated output

You are solely responsible for the source links you submit and you confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to use them. The Service downloads the public videos you choose so it can process them.

As between you and us, you keep whatever rights you have in the shorts you generate, and you are responsible for how you use or publish them — including clearing any rights in the underlying sources. You grant us a limited, worldwide licence to host and process your inputs and outputs solely to operate and improve the Service.

Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, text and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service as intended.

Credits & billing

During the beta the Service is free and comes with a monthly allowance of credits. Each short you start uses one credit, and a generation that fails refunds its credit automatically. Credits have no cash value, do not transfer between accounts and may not carry over between periods. We may introduce or change pricing, allowances and paid plans, and will give reasonable notice of material changes.

Third-party platforms & AI providers

Sources are downloaded from third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) and your inputs are processed by third-party AI providers (speech-to-text, frame scoring, the language model and text-to-speech). Your use of those sources remains subject to the relevant platforms’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party content, services or their availability.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AI-generated voice-overs, scripts and edits may be inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, video-llm and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior three months or a nominal sum.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless video-llm and its operators from any claims, damages and expenses arising out of the content you submit or generate, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms or of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above; significant changes may also be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operating entity’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled by the competent courts there. (The operating entity, jurisdiction and venue are to be confirmed.)
